Backpacking Revett Lake

Backpacking Revett lake had been a sort of “bucket list” item for my son and I. A prior post outlined a hike to the lake with my sweetheart. This time, which was a couple of days earlier was with my son, and we spent the night in a tent on the edge of Revett lake. Zion National Park – Observation Point Hike

The NPS considers the hike “Strenuous” and we concur – each time we have said we need not repeat the hike, yet somehow we manage to forget the pain and do it all over again. One reason is the magnificent beauty one sees along the way hiking through sandstone formations on trails chiseled out of the stone overhangs.
