Blast From the Past
Cheri’s dad visited in the summer of 2010
The Blast From the Past is a way to remember and enjoy past events. We enjoyed the back deck, and had good discussions catching up. The plan starting the next day was to go to Yellowstone dropping Doug off in Salmon to visit Grandma T. The drive was pleasant and everyone had a chance to continue catching up during the relatively long trip. Heading east on I-90 we exited the freeway in Missoula, then headed south toward Salmon.
Cheri and I spent a day visiting with Grandma T, then we headed to Yellowstone for about 10 days. We co south from Salmon, then go up the highway toward the park. We had a great time there, and the pictures will be the focus of another post one of these days. When we returned, we spent a bit more time at Grandma T’s place and had a good time visiting.
Visiting Yellowstone National Park
Yellowstone has been a long time family favorite for decades and we have RV-ed it to just about all the campgrounds and parks. Our favorite is Grizzly in West Yellowstone, which is just outside the west entrance to the park. From that spot we can make our way to the western part of the loop and then go just about everywhere with relative ease. On the list for our visit this time are Norris Geyser Basin, Mammoth, Canyon, Grant, and of course, the Old Faithful area. We visited them all and it was a great visit.
I think I enjoy the blast from the past.
It is wonderful to see father and daughter so close together!
