Stealth Living in Tiny RV Homes
Can you live in a tiny home?
Stealth living in tiny RV homes is certainly not for everyone, but the guy in the first conversion wanted to save money while in graduate school. He obtained an old F-350 V-10 based cargo truck which he converted into an apartment to save living costs. Because it is basic white, still has the looks of a work truck. He even leaves a work safety vest on the dash so people think it IS a work truck.
What is “stealth living” and why do it?
A stealth camper is one that does not look like a camper. This is an advantage to a guy like the one mentioned above who wants to remain inconspicuous and not draw attention. He parked his cargo truck (converted to an apartment) just about anywhere and no one stopped him nor questions his presence.
What type of vehicles are typically used to build a stealth vehicle?
Anything that has reasonably large carrying capacity such as old military trucks and busses. Also used are utility trailers, bread trucks, and delivery vehicles such as UPS trucks.
Is stealth living in tiny rv homes for you?
Maybe. If you would like repurposing an old vehicle and expressing your creative side crafting a home out of it then maybe so.
