Trip to Mardon
Fishing and Kayaking at Mardon is an annual event for a hard core group of travelers. Early in 2018 we met Randy and Sandy, and Butch and Cathy at the Mardon reservoir in Washington. The area is good for water sports of all kinds, and there are back country water bodies that are fun to kayak and of course, fish.
We stayed at the Mar Don RV Resort and had spots right next to one another, allowing much interaction. The bugs were the worst we have ever experienced, but we had access to a tent house which made all good. We were at the end of the row in site #145 which allowed us to easily get parked. Randy and Sandy were the next site in, and Butch and Cathy were next to them.
The images in this album will give you a snapshot of our adventure. I regret forgetting my GoPro camera which would have allowed me to chronicle the kayak trip on the back country lake, which was beautiful. I’ll be sure to remember to bring the camera next year!
